What information do we collect?
We collect information that you provide to us or that is created when you use the App:
- Account Information: Name, email address, password (encrypted), and any subscription details when you register and use the App.
- Training Data: Information about your activities that you record or import, e.g., GPS tracks, times, distances, altitude, heart rate, cadence, type of activity, and any notes or images you add. You always own this data.
- Technical Information: IP address, device and browser type, information about how you use the App and our website (e.g., via cookies – see below).
- Contact Information: If you contact our support, we collect what you tell us to be able to help you.
Why do we collect the information?
We use your information to:
- Provide the App: To allow you to log in, save and view your training sessions, and use the App`s features. We do this to fulfill our agreement with you.
- Improve the App: We analyze anonymized and aggregated usage data (which cannot be linked to you) to understand how the App is used, find bugs, and develop new features. We do this based on our legitimate interest in offering a good service.
- Provide Support: To be able to answer your questions and solve problems. We do this based on our legitimate interest in helping our users.
- Send Information (Marketing): Sometimes we may send newsletters or information about the App. We do this based on our legitimate interest (if you are a user) or your consent. You can always easily unsubscribe from these mailings.
- Comply with Legal Requirements: Sometimes we must save certain information by law, e.g., the Accounting Act if you pay for a subscription.
How long do we keep your information?
We save your personal data as long as you have an active account and as long as it is needed for the purposes we have described above.
If you delete your account, we will delete your identifiable personal data within a reasonable time (usually within 90 days, unless legal requirements state otherwise).
Your Training Data is deleted when the account is deleted, but we may retain it in anonymized and aggregated form for statistics and to improve the App.
Information required by law (e.g., for accounting) is saved as long as the law requires.
Who do we share the information with?
We never sell your personal data. We may share it with:
- Service Providers: Companies that help us run the App, e.g., for hosting (server storage), analysis, and payments. These companies may only use the information to perform services for us and must protect it.
- Authorities: If we are required by law to disclose information.
Transfer outside the EU/EEA
We strive to handle your data within the EU/EEA. If we need to use service providers outside the EU/EEA, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place (e.g., the EU`s standard contractual clauses) to protect your information.
Cookies
We use cookies (small text files) on our website and in the App to make them work well, to facilitate login, and to collect (usually anonymous) statistics on how they are used. You can usually set your browser to block cookies, but this may cause some features to stop working.
